I spend my days watching the rain

today it makes me miss you more

It brings back memories of the pain
Of a rainy day just like today
The rain and I we watched you go
And I saw how far apart we’d grown

Sometimes when I watch the rain
It makes me feel alive again
And though it hurts today
I think about the brighter days to come

I spend my days watching the rain
But this day’s different than before
Don’t need the rain to hide my tears
Cause I won’t be crying anymore

I made the choice to move on
